Moonbikes
The MoonBike is an innovative blend of a snowmobile and a snowbike, offering an exhilarating experience of both power and freedom. Its design, reminiscent of the Snowscoot, is powered entirely by electricity. This robust machine can reach thrilling speeds over 25 mph, thanks to its powerful propulsion system. Equipped with multiple rechargeable batteries, the MoonBike boasts a remarkable battery life – up to over an hour for spirited driving, or approximately an hour and a half in its regular mode. Additionally, these vehicles are notably lightweight and easy to transport.
As environmentally conscious electric vehicles, MoonBikes allow you to enjoy the great outdoors without causing environmental damage. Their eco-friendly design ensures zero pollution, both in terms of emissions and noise, due to their ultra-quiet engine. This feature is particularly beneficial for wildlife enthusiasts, as it enables close encounters with mountain wildlife without disrupting their natural habitat, enhancing the overall enjoyment of your adventure.

Please remember when visiting the mountains to come prepared for changing winter alpine conditions and follow all CDOT guidelines for proper tires and chains for your own safety. For any questions, please visit the CDOT CDOT website.
Get a head start and print out a Winter Release Form for your group and sign it and bring it with you. Before access is granted to the tube park a Safety Briefing is REQUIRED and will be provided by staff.

Pond Hockey
Great news for anyone that’s not in a league: We play pond hockey all winter long! See our pricing below or contact us for more details. If you’ll be bringing your own gear, Pond-Only Pass pricing applies, or else you can rent your sticks, pucks, and skates when you get here (call ahead to verify rental availability).
Outdoor and Night Skating
Whether you’re practicing your triple lutz or hitting the ice for the first time, our ice skating pond is available all winter for your enjoyment.
Relax and warm up by our complimentary fire close by. On Friday and Saturday nights, we light the pond up for your evening enjoyment!

Snowshoe Trails — Cross Country Ski Trails — Fat Tire Bike Trails
Click above image to download the BMRR Trail Map. Beaver Meadows Resort Ranch boasts over 20 miles of back-country Snowshoe, Cross Country Ski, and Fat Tire Bike Trails. We offer limited equipment rental for these sports, so please call ahead to check for availability or visit your local sporting goods store for rental equipment.
Ice Fishing
We dedicate one side of our hourglass shaped ponds just for the winter angler. In addition to the natural habitat of brown and brook trout, we stock rainbow trout annually. Bring your auger and drill a few holes to watch for the day. Please be advised that we no longer rent augers or ice fishing equipment.
Take your thermos into our Ranch House Restaurant & Lounge and we’ll fill it with hot chocolate or coffee for a small fee. At the end of the day, warm up to a bowl of hot chili and tell your tall tale of the one that got away.
We offer ice fishing seven days a week, from 9:00am to 4:00pm.
There are also several public lakes within a fifteen minute drive of Beaver Meadows Resort Ranch.

Tree Cutting Hours are Monday-Thursday 10 am to 2 pm, Friday-Sunday 9 am to 3 pm.

Best to have snow tires or chains. A 4×4 vehicle is recommend but not required.

No tree larger than 10 inches in diameter may be cut down.

Bring your own handsaw, or power saw, NO chainsaws allowed.

Plan on walking in the snow and dress for winter alpine conditions.

Winter Activity Passes
Enjoy our variety of passes for all of our winter activities. These include our snow tube park (single or double tube included), cross-country ski trails, snow shoe trails, ponds for ice fishing, skating, hockey and Christmas Tree cutting. Minors must be accompanied by a guardian or adult. All pass holders must obey Snow Tube Park rules.
